Honda to G35 switch?

Anyone out there gone from Honda Accord to G35? Just wondering what your impressions are on differences, quality, etc.

I love the G35, I've driven an '03 and and '04. We're going to look at them seriously on Saturday.

Thanks for any help.

Mark

Mark, that is exactly what I did. Went from a '01 Accord EX to my beloved G and I can say this is the best buy I've ever made. When you buy a G, you're not buying a car, you're buying an addiction, and a membership to many friendships to come. Good luck.

94 accord cpe turbo .. to '04 g35 coupe

even though my accord was more powerful, the g35 is nice to cruise around in..

Also, the accord didn't seem as solid as the g35. But some parts on the g35 didn't seem that much better, quality wise. (the interior for one thing)

I too had an Accord. Almost every way is better with the G, however, you're making the wrong comparison here. The G is a whole $10k higher than the Accord ... naturally, one would hope the G is better in nearly all aspects. The Altima is in the same class as the Accord. In that case ... I think I'd rather take the Accord over the Altima!

Not sure if mines count...from 92 accord ex to 05 g35x. It's like comparing apples to oranges...like a no-frill to a luxury sedan. As far as reliablity, it's obvious honda's are quite solid. A 12+ year old car and still running strong. As for my g35x, I think I already found my 1st problem "gas tank" after owning it for a little over a month. Power wise, obviously you can't compare but everytime I step into my g35x I missed driving a stick. The 92 accord may be slow but the manual transmission is still very very smooth.
