Can 07 push start button with wires be put on to 05 g35 key less start turn button??

I have a 07 push button with key that was on a salvaged car. i took the button along with wires and was wondering if i can switch my 05 g35 sedan keyless turn start switch to the button? If possible how? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you're going to need some more parts for the wireless start system and some stuff for the security system to recognize this new start mechanism.

I agree. I hate the damn keyless **** gizmo, but to swap in a push-button would probably require more parts and programming than is possible on the 05/06 system.

The two systems don't exactly work the same in terms of accessory mode, and basic mechanism.

Im pretty sure you can add the push button to your car. You replace it where the cig lighter is. Wire it up to the ignition. Kptech ppl have a package for it.

I beleive for that system, you'd still need to turn the **** to the ON position first, and then hit the button.

It wouldn't work like the 07+ system, and be kinda pointless since if you turn the **** partially...why not go the extra 1/8 turn and start the car.

^Correct. You still have to put the key in with that system.
