looking for opinions on painting bottom trim

I have a black 03 sedan and have been contemplating plasti dipping the bottom gray trim black. Looking for some opinions or it would be great if anyone else has done this and had some pics.

Dont do it! Have them professionally painted by a bodyshop the color of your car

Aren't they black plastic on the first gen sedans? They are fading if this is the case, I'm sure.

I guess they could be faded but I looked at a few pics of black sedans on google and they looked the same as mine I just thought they made them a grayish color from the factory to avoid having two different shades of black but im probably wrong

jus use black spray paint and paint it back to black. or try aerospace or armorall to get it black again. but yea its faded black

There are some products out there like back to black by mothers that will shine the black trim. Looks faded like mine. Armor All or any kind of waxes fill fade the trim. But if you have the money i would get it color matched at a paint shop.

If you have the cash paint it. If not, some Mothers back-to-black does make the faded bottom trim look 100 times better.

Thanks for the info guys I would have it painted but I am having the whole car painted or vinyl wrapped at the beginning of next year.Now that I know its faded I will probably try some back to black or maybe try out that wipe new stuff I
