new here new G

Hello, I just traded my 2003 A4 for a 2003.5 G35 sedan black w/willow leather int. Love it. I am glad I found this site. Audi's have very loyal owners who share info and idea's- Looks like its the same over here! I just wanted to say I love the car. And i hope to learn more about the good and the bad.

Welcome. Weren't you happy with your A4, or did you, like most of us, just fall in love with the G on your test drive?

Wow... traded an 03 A4. That's one sexy car. Which did you have, 3.0/1.8T, how was it optioned, and what prompted you to trade it?

Re: new here new G

thanks, I had a 1.8T front wheel automatic. I loved the look of the car. It felt very nice as well, it was all around an awesome car, but... it lacked HP. i have always thought the A4 was the best looking ride out there, and the G was a close 2nd. but in terms of value and performace its not even close, the G wins ( so I win I guess). I love the feel of the infiniti leather. I dont like the stock Bridgestone tires on the car. I want to do some moding very soon.

Happy to be here.

I would like to lower it a little and change the wheels and rims, not sure what kind or what size yet. I also was thinking about trying to add the titanium center slope to my car. Is this possable? I am waitng to read some reviews and see how other poeple changing their ride. Still waiting for break in period to end.

Re: new here new G

Congrats, you will love every minute of this car. I happen to own a 2003 A4 3.0 Quattro 6MT and my wife has the new G35 sedan auto that's loaded. Even with every option on the G it was still less expensive than my A4. I love my A4 but I have to admit the G is one hell of a car, especially the engine. We are also in the process of putting some wheels on the G and I am leaning towards 19's due to the huge wheel wells on this car. Anyway, have fun with the G and post some pics when you get the wheels on.

I am looking at the Millie Miglia Evo 5's, they are not that expensive and seem to be a decent wheel.
