Visual Mods Advice needed

2 Attachment(s)
First of all greetings to all forum members and their commitment as the amount of information available on this forum is quite impressive, all due to your guys' effort. I purchased my 2004 G35 Sedan with 70k Miles 3 days ago, and although i was aiming to buy a coupe, mainly due to its great looks, a great deal came up on the sedan and I could not resist passing it. Having about 2,000 dollars left over from the purchase, I would like know your guys' advice on how to make the car appear sexier and sportier. From what I've read a body kit would be definitite go when visually modding the car to appear sportier. Any suggestions as to what Body kit to buy as well as any other visual mods all fitting in my price range of 2,000 dollars are greatly appreciated.

P.S. Its a red stock sedan

Looks good man. Why do any more?

I'm so jealous of your color lol. but if you want a body kit check out this thread: https://g35driver.com/forums/interio...tion-list.html
The most popular choices are the nismo and kurookie front bumpers but it all depends on your taste which body kit you will like. other visual things would be to lower it, wheels (make sure you do lots of research on sizes and offsets), and projector retrofits. other little things like painting the grill, clear corners, debadge, etc. will change the look also. then you can start saving for performance mods, cuz you don't wanna be that guy.

Probably because I like to do things my way and i always want my cars to look and stand out in my own way. This feeling only instensified as I bought the sedan, which I see around alll the time, all looking basically the same.

Thank you, I think the color is sexy too: ) i would like to know what would be your recommendation of Wheels/rim colors. Also, I was considering putting on colored calipers. What do you think about that?

Nismo/replica bodykit looks great, but painting your lowers body colour is pretty good too. Nice 18-19" wheels and a 1-2" drop really helps.

Coloured calipers = no, unless it's a big brake kit.

I Personally love the OEM coupe rays with a passion. Check post #6 Here for an example.

I wouldn't go too crazy with colors on the rims on that color of car. Black would get lost.

otherwise I say just stick with polished/silver or black. as for the brakes black would be alright otherwise don't color them unless its a BBK.

To be quite honest. The clean lines of an 03/04 have been very appealing to me lately. Even more than the 05/06.

Only body kit I really like is the Nismo kit. Good luck finding one now though.

I'd just slap some different wheels on it, tint and lower it a bit.

Would I come across any difficulties slapping on those 18" coupe rays and putting on 350z springs?

Bumpers, side skirts, trunk, get rid of the door trim, and paint the mirror bases chrome door handles and chrome window trim. And since your car isn't black, trim down that rubber piece on the bottom of the doors.

The coupe rims made by Rays are the 19" 10 spoke style. The coupe 18's are also sexy and look great on a sedan. Both sets are plug and play on a sedan and have very favorable offsets so they won't be sunken in. If you want to stay with OEM springs go the G/Z combo route for an even drop. Just 350Z springs don't provide that.

I say paint the black trim to match the red, slight drop and maybe some coupe 19" rays. Also are you missing the front half of your inner fender lining, i dont think we should be able to see light coming through the front bumper like that. Should replace that too

SDGenius Sep 8, 2013 05:54 PM

the paint color is called Garnet Fire

Based on the profile picture OP posted: Is the driver's fender liner missing?
