05 G35 brake light not working?

My friend pointed out that my brake light on my car is not working today. The LED brake lights. The taillight works, but the LEDs do not get any brighter with the brakes are pressed. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm guessing the LEDs are not easily replaceable if at all without a new taillight entirely.

test your brake switch on your brake pedal. its probably bad. I'm pretty sure there is a separate fuse for brake lights as well.

It's only one side, not both.

If the 3rd brake light and the other side work, time to start checking wiring/connections to see if the taillight is bad, or if you have a wiring issue somewhere in the car.

You'll have to snag wiring diagrams and pull the light out and start trouble shooting.

I had a voltage drop on the wire between the left and right turn signals. Both are only .65V. Not sure if that's right. Anyway, it was caused by a bad connection where my trailer wiring is tied in. Fixed now.

Thanks!
