headlight bulb issue

I just installed a set of 6k bulbs off egay. They worked for a day. The next day one of them was off when I turned the bulbs on. Then I turned them off and back on. The bulb came on but you could tell it was a delay. After a minute it flickered and went out. Has be out for a day now. I guess these are back or is there something I can do?

I quit reading your post after the first sentence. Return them for a refund and order a set through one of our many vendors here. Please, please don't cheapen your car with the cheapest mods out there. The G deserves much, much better.

Just leave the foglights on. 99% of people think those are the headlights anyway.

I got my set of bulbs from DDM tuning after an OEM bulb went on me.

The first set lasted 3 years before 1 started giving me issues. I bought another set and it's been over a year without issues on those.

More than likely, they are chinese made bulbs...but they've done OK for me.

Yea I've been looking at aftermarket headlights for my 06 sedan. I don't think I can list sources so I won't lol. At first, I thought the LED strings running down the side of the headlight looked cool, but as I see more of them on cars, they look out of place. It could also be that some older cars have them, but I hope this isn't the case with the G. I'll also be doing the 6k HID along with them. I keep hearing they're illegal etc, but I see plenty of newer cars with them on there. The OEM bulbs are such a step up from my last car, so hopefully the 6k are sweet as well.

Technically any lighting modification that differs from OEM is illegal. Whether or not you get a ticket depends on whomever feels like writing one up for you.

I am seeing more and more LED kits retrofitted on older cars. Some look very out of place. They just don't look OEM when you see two zip-tied LED strips in the lower grill of a Scion trying to look like an E350 Benz. Theres a Murano running around near me that has THOUSANDS of white LED's on it's entire front end. You could land an airplane down it's hood.

Yea, I figured since I drive like an old man that I'll avoid the unwarranted attention. I think the Halo's look decent, but the LED can be a little much on a 2000 Civic Wagon or whatever else they're on haha. I'm still on the lookout for Halo's with 6k HID plug and play. The other day I saw an old Lexus that looked like it was just driven out of a dungeon with 2 little LED strips on the front that looked super bright. I can't help but wonder why draw attention to that car. To each their own.

Gotta admit, I love driving my Benz around on an overcast day with the LED drls on.

What most people don't realize is that at night, when the headlights go on, the power is reduced to the LEDs. I believe it's 50% reduction. They then function as fog lights and work off a fog light switch. I'll be the first to say they suck in fog light mode. They don't light up a thing.
