yeah the ARC is pretty similar to the design I have - a few small things but nothing major...

Many of the guys like the polished version - wrapping it w/ vinyl or painting changes it a lot

Rounding off the corners would be a good start. If u design it to sit on top of the grill it will open it up to more different design possibilities, I think

I dont even own a G35 any more so you can take my suggestion with a gain of salt. But my suggestions.
1. Blend the edges in more, it looks weird with that random corner sticking out.
2. Find a way to add thickness. Seems like everyones main complaint is the flimsy looking nature. Consider switching to alumilite sheets. Still quite inexpensive, considerably stronger, thicker, and come in a variety of colors.
3. Offer some type of powdercoating options. Most everyone perfers the black look. (or go with suggestion 2)
4. Combine your two products. Make a underbody cover with splitter. Best of both worlds.

You can see how strong alumilte is. There is a reason it is the most popular material for front splitters by racers. It really isnt pricey either, locally I can get a 4x8 sheet for about $100.

Suggestion 4 with alumilte (Can be produced for under $100, probably sell in the $250-300 range)

I'm interested. I have all of the TBW undertrays and have compared them to other brands that I run across locally at meets and events. I can't say enough good things about the quality and spot on fitment. I'm down to buy and give feedback for those that have Nismo fronts on their coupes. Based on the mounting areas, this looks like it could actually be a bit of a functioning mod as well.

Keep it up man! Respect for still innovating and creating for our beloved cars!

I don't think combining the undertray and the splitter is a good idea personally. Easier to make and market seperate pieces, but I agree that a thicker splitter would be what I would want.

Personally, I am interested in aluminum battery covers. Is there a way this could become a reality?

Would it be possible to roll the edge so it appears a bit thicker?

definitely interested. I would definitely agree with Whosurbuddiee on powdercoating options though.

Jeff - I don't think it would work very well because of the arc - also, aluminum doesn't bend as well as other metals in regards to breaking/shearing. Its probably doable though

There are other splitters available out there

As for battery covers, its definitely doable - pm me about it

Powder coating will be an available option for sure. I just haven't decided which colors, or choice of colors I am going to make available. There will be a flat/mini texture black to match the under tray for sure at a minimum.

Something like this. You can see he made an oval with it. Might add strength to the piece also

It's not like people will run into curbs on purpose, who does that

.... but for lowered cars, if you trying to enter a steep driveway, that looks like itll bend up. just sayin... even if you enter the drive way at an angle, you still scrape some

not trying to bash your product, just my opinion.. This isnt a for sale thread, so there is no shting here.
