Alright guys I need some help, I've got a 2003 g35 sedan with the factory HID low beams in them. I just added aftermarket HID high beams and they look great! My issue is that I guess my car had been wrecked before I bought it because the driver lens turns yellow consistently and I have to buff it about every 2 weeks. I want to replace the lens all together but a replacement for the factory HID is like 700 bucks and you can get new lens in a pair for like a max of 250 on ebay, but they all say "NON-HID" but are able to handle aftermarket HID's? So my question is does anyone know what would not work with putting a set of those lens in there other then possibly having to modify the wiring harness and mounting the factory ballast, or different projection? I thought that maybe it couldn't handle the heat difference but they say they can handle aftermarket HID so I assume they would be fine. I'm a auto tech at best buy with my MECP so I am technically inclined buy without seeing the lens side by side I just cant tell if it would work or not so please ANY insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
