I'm about to buy the Kurookie bumper. Can the front bumper look alright with stock sides and rear, or should I upgrade those?

The Kurookie hangs lower than the stock bumper so it would look a little funny with stock sides common upgrade is Nisrookie sides and Nismo rear.

Thanks, I'm looking for a place to buy them. I tried getting in touch with R1 in vendor but I haven't heard back at all. Any other place online?

Seems they found a difference at idle, but not much of any difference with airflow. Since 90% of my driving is interstate I think I will keep it unpainted. Did you post this with the intention of saying that with an enclosed bumper it would be better to paint it black?

Almost impossible to buy a bumper for my 05. I can't find any shop offering anything except the N-1. I tried to get in contact with some vendors here but haven't gotten any responses so I think I will just stick with the stock bumper. The exterior is the one thing that makes me wish I got an 04!

you could run two intercoolers in front of each opening like a lot of 03/04 guys do with the Nismo front:

KuRookie

I just got my Kurookie installed on my black g35 sedan. And it looks AMAZING. got it from a place out in Cali. and its nice because you can see the intake filter from the Injen CAI i installed. Its more of an aesthetic thing for me rather than a functional approach.

try outcast garage, the form is perfect minus that you will have to do some work to get the blinker in.

But

Would that be because their function suits the needs of the car best, and people find it to be the most visually appealing?

no its because they're the most widely availabe except for some fugly @$$ body kit from extreme dimensions. Although I think R1 just made a g37 bumper for the v35 sedan...
