manual mode 3 gear

Why is shifiting to 3rd so harsh? Feels like the cars about to break in half. Will this cause tranny damage?

It's just one of the quirks with our cars. There's nothing wrong with your tranny it seems all of the 5AT's do it.

there is a sweet spot where you can shift without harsh jerk. It's usually below 2.5k rpm.

Yea mine does it. Even with a fresh tranny flush. Theres a write up somewhere on here explaining it.

Mine has done that since day 1. It's part of the reason I actually dislike using MM.
