I took it to infiniti for an airbag recall and they told me it had an extended warranty till 100k miles. I was able to get both compression rod bushings and both engine valve covers replaced along with a loaner vehicle for couple weeks while they waited on parts and warranty claim all for $10 to cover the loaner. I have no clue how much tolls I racked on that loaner vehicle.
Good deal! How'd u get them to replace the valve covers? Like u just told them they are leaking and they replaced or u had some issue and they saw them leaking?

I had the Nissan elite warranty for a few years. Only time I used it was when my window motors went out, they couldn't argue about that!

socalg35x, what's with the bumps? Members selling a part use the bump to keep their thread visable, what's your excuse?

I was replacing spark plugs and noticed the slight oil leak and at that point I put it back together and dropped it off to the dealership. I told them to tear it down and they will find oil in cylinder 5 and 6. The back 2 cylinders and they were able to verify that and while they had it up on the lift they noticed the compression rod bushings.

Infiniti called Nissan extended warranty to verify they will pay out on all the repairs. They authorized the charge and I was able to have the loaner and all the parts / labor covered under warranty. The compression rod bushing made a huge difference in every day driveability and valve covers made sure I have have no misfires or oil consumption.
