Driver's Seat Replacement

Hi,
I need to replace my driver's seat in my 2004 G35x Sedan. Specifically, I only need to replace the backrest portion. Would I need to remove the whole seat to do so? Any other things I need to do? (i.e. disconnect harnesses/battery, etc)?

Any online guides for this? Thanks for the advice!

Disconnect the battery because you will be disconnecting the airbag harness and take the seat out

So, no way to do just the backrest? I need to remove the entire seat?

It's literally four bolts and a clip connector at the bottom of the seat. I remove them any time I do any work in the back area of the car.

Sounds simple enough. Thank you.

A bit of a follow up question... I got a replacement upper seat and now that I look at it, it would seem much simpler to switch out damaged the leather covering, rather than dismantle the entire seat. The only issue is that I can't figure out how to remove the lumbar lever and the two plastic caps for the headrest.

Is there some secret to this (assuming it's possible)?

EDIT: After a little more playing, it looks like the cover might actually just stretch over and then fit behind these elements. Is that the right approach?
