Navigation DVD Drive

I'v looked everywhere and there is a million posts on ppl with navigation issues with the screen falling down. mine stays up fine but is just dead to the world along with the dvd drive, they just seem to have no power. I have checked most all the fuses that should be associated with the unit. anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!!

I agree 100%....

But it would drive my bonkers to have a dead NAVI system, and fixing it might get a few more $$$ when it comes time to sell the car.

^^ True.

If OP checked the fuses, it has to be either screen failed or wiring problems. Both can be expensive and going to have to rip dash apart. If OP isnt comfortable reading a schematic and finding the problem, only choice is to just take it to a professional.

I don't think its the screen that's the issue the DVD drive how now power it seems or is faulty. this weekend I'm going to take the drive out and see if it ha any power going to it. I was hoping someone else had this problem and had fixed it. Worst of it is it never worked from when I bought the car so i have no idea what happened.
