My stock air intake is cracked, so i have to buy a new one. Should i get a K&N, AEM, Takeda or Injen? Can i cold air intake fit in my 2004 sedan? Like this onehttp://s575.photobucket.com/user/dcrxridha/media/37134_1454648401882_1103464722_30989530_7102729_n. jpg.html
04REDG35, best bet is '06 REVUP air box available from AMAZON Nissan part #16526-AC700 for less than $92=. Get a AMSOIL or K&N drop in filter and you'll have the best intake $$ can buy! Gary
A custom fabricated ram air/CAI setup will yield better performance than any of the previous things mentioned. There is no over the counter kit available that is like that though. All depends on how far your willing to go.
If you don't care about performance and your just trying to get your intake fixed than everything above will work fine.
I have the Takeda. Bought one because the shop- http://4wheelonline.com/Cold_Air_Intakes.151438 gave me a nice discount before. Didn't notice any hp/mpg gain however I like the new sound and there's an improvement in throttle response.
I have an AEM cold air intake. There is very very little power difference, if any. Lower RPM's it might even be slightly slower. I feel like in the higher RPM range it's more responsive and maybe quicker.. but I can't prove it. The stock airbox is probably the way to go.

I had a JWT pop charger for a very long time with a Z-Tube. I eventually sold both of them and went back to stock. If I could do it again, I would just go with the z-tube and plain old paper filter.
