running ligh/low beam HID same as Fog light HID ?

Was wondering if the low beam light hid is the same part # as the fog light hid which are stock HID lights that originally come in the car

Obviously i can just take them out but being lazy and not wanting to do that long process just to find out

I want to order 8k's for low beam and fog lights currently have 6k's.

No.

The fog lamp was originally a halogen bulb, so any aftermarket HID kid would be a rebased bulb for the original halogen bulb size.

low beam bulb size is D2R (assuming they are factory OEM HID's)
fog light is an H4 bulb if I recall (double check this)

Please don't buy an HID kit for your fogs, let them do the job they were designed to do.

And don't go with anything above 6000K, the light output is crap and they look hella ricer.
