What's up guys before I say anything I just want to let you know that this might be a stupid question..i don't know.. I was driving on the highway today and I hit one of the biggest potholes ever, this thing was literally like 2feet deep and 2feet wide..huge. I was just wondering if the 05 g35x takes bumps good? I live in a bumpy area so I'm hitting bumps and stuff everyday and I just wanna know if this is going to cause a problem eventually. I drive slow over them and try to avoid as many as possible but I still hit a good amount. Also I eventually wanna lover the car like a half inch or so and get rims, should I if I hits bumps and **** like that a lot? Again this is probably a restarted question, I just need people's opinions hhaha

well first and foremost if u hit a pothole hard enough you can bend your rim, which in turn causes the tire to not seat well and you will lose tire pressure. which can cause you to bend/dent ur rim even worse. as for lowering your car potholes can tear off your plastic windscreen under your car, or dent your exhaust, or maybe even your oil pan. you have to be careful. potholes can cause some serious issues.

You're right, it is a stupid question. Very poor road conditions + lowered suspension can only lead to more grief than with stock suspension.

Other than that, your suspension was DESIGNED to take abuse, but may wear out a bit faster compared to one drove on Florida roads.
Pot holes are part of driving, but only the craters will hurt your suspension (possibly screwing your alignment).
