Car sputters at idle after fill up.

My wife has a g35 sedan. she says when she feels up her car sputters at idle. fine on acceleration though. after she drives for a few days it goes back to normal till the next time she feels up. Also, I know the float in the gas tank is not accurate cause the fuel gauge fluctuates a lot. Any idea what's causing the idol sputtering? could the pump be causing that or the float and strainer?
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Reason I ask, some gas stations have been known to put water in their gas and that ****s with the fuel lines and pump.

Nothing, I always fill up with my engine running. Makes no difference.

Only think I can think of is that fuel might be leaking back into the charcoal canister and getting drawn into the engine when full. Any check engine lights or anything? Need more info on how the car sputters. Is it a misfire? Does idle jump around?

Can you take a video?
