The G is in need of new brakes. I was thinking of getting duralast gold Cmax and resurface the rotors. It's not a race car but a daily driver.
Budget could be bumped up to 300.

 

What year and model are you driving? There are three different brake setups to common on and they each have their quirks.

03-04 (and 05 AWD) brakes, brembos or the 05-06 (except 05 AWD) brakes?

 

Sorry I'm driving a 2004 g35 RWD non brembo.

 

In the process myself for new brakes.

Best Combo for the money is the following:

-Front and Rear Centric C-Tek Brake Rotors. A Step up from these would be their premium blanks.

-Akebono Front and Rear Pads.

-Both sets pads and rotors front and rear will run you sub 200.

-While you are there, if you have not flushed your brake fluid, you may as well do it one time. Really helps with the brake feel as a whole.

-Parts can be had on Amazon with Prime 2 Day Shipping as well.

I've got a set of centric blanks and akebono pads for the rear of a 2006 sedan that I need to sale since i've since sold the G. I'm pretty sure the rears are the same throughout 03-06. Let me know.
