Which is the better deal
Hey guys I'm looking into getting a g35. I want to use it for my daily. My budget is about $5100 (I know that's not a lot) and I'm looking at 2 deals right now. I would have them both checked by a Mechanic and If they both check out good which one do you think is the better deal?

I don't mind paying for higher priced repairs as long as the car doesn't need repairs that frequently. I rather own a g35 and pay higher for repairs than a Honda and pay dirt cheap for repairs. I want a g35 to have g35. I wasnt asking about repair costs or maintenance, I was asking which is the better deal. Most likely I would need to spend money to tune and fix whatever needs fixing after I purchase the car. I'm prepared for that $5100 is what I can spend right now cash to buy a car. Plus I can buy a warranty extension if there are a lot of frequent problems that I need to fix.

In reality dude. With that budget just buy a nice Honda or toyota, anything at that price is simply going to be a nightmare and your better off with an accord as much as I hate Hondas it's really the financially wise thing to do... what happens when you spend 5100 bucks and then have to spend another grand for control arms with labor to install? plus that sedan looks like it has been in an accident that requires the rear bumper and the trunk to be replaced.
What kind of financial position are you in? are you a student? there's more to a car than just the cost to buy it... lol I learned that when I bought my car and needed to replace a bit of my suspension, which is rather costly, not to mention insurance

The title is clean. Never been in any accident. I graduated 2 years ago. I have a full time job (working from home) and im working real estate part time. The car had no Suspension issues when I test drove it. I understand that doesn't mean that I won't have issues in the future but if you're asking, I can afford to maintain it.

Alright. I just wanted you to get an idea of what can go wrong, honestly I feel like your gonna buy it anyways, so it comes down to the matter coupe vs sedan and what you'll be using it for
heres a better choice for about double what youre looking to spend.
it would help tremendously instead of picking from the bottom of the barrel for Craigslist "infinitys"

one owner and low miles.

Thank you. That definitely looks like a good deal I'm just not trying to get into a monthly car note unless the monthly payment is really inexpensive i.e. $100/month if that.
were just looking out for you for the record.
we own these cars currently and know some things get pricey pretty quick and many times those high dollar fixes start to rear their ugly heads with the high miles.
Thanks. Im currently carless. I work from home so im flexible but i have to rely on my wifes car and schedule if i wanna go some where. On average, with around 126k mikes on the clock, how much do you spend in maintenance annually?
Which is the better deal
While miles are important. I don't believe they have any impact on maintenance. condition is key. I'd rather have a car with 150k on the clock that has been cared for than a car with 70k that hadn't been. but at around that time it's time for a suspension check if it already hasn't been done. and when you replace one suspension component you generally have to replace almost all of them
