Brake light fuse
So yesterday, just as I was rolling up to work, the VDC, SLIP, and BRAKE light illuminated. Figured meh, just need to top off brake fluid. After work, startup the car, 3 lights still illuminated, but now I could not shift out of park. Did a quick search on here and found it could be the brake light fuse (so thankful for this forum). Sure enough, my brake lights were not illuminating and the fuse appeared blown. I changed the 10A fuse and all was good. I have driven the car about 50 miles since, no issues, but I'm a little concerned about getting stranded somewhere. Could I have a short somewhere in the brake wiring? Maybe this was just a fluke?
Until it happens again, I'd chalk it up as a fluke and wouldn't worry about it. Most I'd do is carry a spare fuse and look to see if my brake lights come on from time to time in the reflection on the car behind me.
Long time ago when I first bought my car, I had the radio crap out and the HVAC stuck at 70 and unable to adjust. It was the same symptoms as the dreaded 03 radio board issue. I turned the car off, and on and it was fine again...and that was it. 170K miles later it's never done it again.
So cross your fingers and just keep an eye out for now.

Yeah, looks to be that way. I put many miles on this weekend, picked up some fuses just in case. From further research it could be the wiring in the trunk lid for the spoiler, if it happens again I'll put an inline fuse on the spoiler light.
