Doors molding trim remove any tips

Im thinking about removing all the molding trims on the doors on my 05 sedan Any tips on having it done the best

Are you referring to the outside chrome trim around the door?

I wonder if the paint underneath would be darker since the car has probably faded slightly since new.

Yea the moldings on the lower door

The lower body side moldings are held in place with 3M tape and locating pins that go through the doorskin. So, you'd have to have the holes welded up and then the doors painted, and the paint should also be blended into the front and rear fenders so it all matches. So, basically you have to paint both sides of the car to remove the moldings LOL.

Yea i was pretty sure i was gonna have to do that lol seems like alot of work to get done thanks for the info
