Well, Corpus Christi to San Diego is 2 days, or 20-22 hours straight, with El Paso being the half-way point. Austin ought to give you a 2-3 hour head start. The destination's about the same, as you'll just stay on I10 instead of getting on I8 between Tucsan and Phoenix. Unless, of course, you try to drive through LA around 8am or 5pm.. then you might as well walk. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]
