2006 Infiniti G35x front end squeaking noise when turning

Hello I own a 2006 Infiniti G35x with 114,000 miles currently and it makes a loud pitch squeaking/squealing noise when turning left or right. Happens when doing a normal 15-20 MPH turn left or right. As soon as I straighten my wheels to go the noise stops. Brought it to my mechanic and he said I will need front end wheel bearings and for both sides with labor total is about $900.Car is not humming loud on the highway when doing about 70 MPH and brake/rotor area is not excessively hot after driving. I also plan on replacing the driver side axle as the boot is worn and coming off. Anyone have any thoughts to this problem? Any fixes? I don't want to shell out that kind of money and just be guessing.

I always suggest DIY'ing if you have the tools, this forum and YouTube. Don't really even need the experience for simple things like replacing a half shaft or replacing hubs and bearings. These are relatively straight forward unbolt, remove and replace jobs. Try rockauto.com for wheel bearings/hubs and I'm not sure where to suggest looking for a replacement front axle. A few fellow X owners have reported here that they haven't had good luck buying them off rock so maybe a local junkyard would be a good idea or a local shop can rebuild your current one. For your hubs/bearings I would suggest buying just the bearings and have a shop press out your old ones out of the hubs and replacing the bearings only. They are less than $40 each for the X: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo...431975&jsn=331

Do you tink this part will last a few years? I don't beat on the car and 6 days out of the week I do highway commuting.

Update

UPDATE!!
I have replaced Both front end balljoints, control arms, swaybar end links, wheel bearings, and tie rods (PLUS ALIGNMENT).Don't worry balljoints were leaking and control arm bushings gone..Guess what, it still makes the noise whether I'm turning left or right and only when I'm turning left or right. When driving straight car is quiet(of course basically whole new front end). Any ever came across this dilemma in a G?

It's a 2006 G35X.
