2004 memory switch trim panel

My memory switch trim panel recently fell out of the left side of the driver's seat. I simply pushed it back in but it is loose and won't stay. It looks like it might have had 3 or 4 spots along the top of it where the plastic was melted to the seat trim to hold it in.

I am just trying to find out if anyone else has had this problem and what they did. Only thing I can think to do is glue the top portion to the seat trim, but am reluctant to go ahead with this (somewhat) permanent solution for fear I might need to remove it at some point in the future.

Suggestions?

Use a couple of dabs of clear silicone or very small pieces of double sided tape to hold it in. Easy enough to get off in the future if you need to.
