AC is warm beyond 60 degrees

61 and up is very warm. 60 feels like it should. I did some research and found out underneath the steering wheel there could be a rubber hose unplugged. I dug in there and couldn't really find anything unplugged or even the actual rubber hose people on this forum have been speaking of. Can anybody provide a diagram or picture of what I should be looking for? Thanks

Andy it's not a hose but a plug for a wiring harness. I believe it's for the interior temp sensor and it should be under the dash below the steering wheel. Did your A/C just start doing this or has it been happening for a while? Did you/someone else recently do any work in that area? It's unlikely that the harness disconnected by itself, our plugs for them are pretty tight and aren't prone to just come apart on their own.....

I remember seeing pictures somewhere on here, use the search function or Google to try and find them.

Could also be the sensor has failed.

The HVAC system does have an internal diagnostic setup. I've never personally tried to use it though as I never had any issue with my system during the time I had it.

Of course would have helped to know year, but they should all be the same.

I actually posted in the wrong section. I have an 05 coupe but it's all the same right? Anyway, I've only had this car for about 2 months and I havent touched a single thing on it yet. There's a huge cluster of wires and plugs down there, I'm going to keep searching around here to try and find exactly which one is the temp sensor. So far nothing looks unplugged. Perhaps it just went bad. Thanks.

Coupe wiring might be different, if I were you I'd google the same info for a coupe just to be safe.

Glad to help, good luck....
