Lightbulb Anyone Order the Full Aero Kit?

Has anyone ordered the full aero (port installed option) for their G35 sedan? Tried to include the full aero kit on the '05 6mt sedan I ordered last January. Dealer told me that they could not order it and did not know why. What's the story? Had to settle for the factory installed aero kit and slash guards....

My G is due April 11! Too long to wait!
6mt Lakeshore Slate/Stone, Premium package, NAV, aero kit, trunk mat, splash guards.

I looked into the kit but I was told it was cancelled by Infiniti. Grubbs is trying to have a kit fabricated in their area. When it is complete they will post it on their website.

CANCELLED?? Last I heard, the kit pieces were recalled for poor paint match.. it doesnt seem like something Infiniti would scrap..

AMG35, where did you hear that?

Mallified, for 05, I think the full aero kit that you are referring to is the front lip, body colored splash guards and rear wing. There is a aero package which includes rear wing and rear wheel diffusers.
Dealer can install the aero kit but you may have to pay the labor.

I heard from the guys at Grubbs.

"Infiniti has cancelled this option for this year (supplier problems). We are in the process of having it fabricated locally. Watch for an announcement when we get it completed."

Hyde,

The factory aero kit is a $550 option that includes the trunk wing and rear side air diffusers installed at the factory. The factory install does away with the brake light on the rear dash in favor of the brake light in the spoiler.

The full aero kit is $1100 and is installed when the vehicle arrives in the US. The kit includes (according to the Infiniti website) the front lip spoiler, rear spoiler, side sills, and rear under spoiler (diffusers?). Since the full aero kit appearently never made it to the market, I guess we'll never know what it actually looked like.

Here are some pics I borrowed from a Grubbs post on FA. They apparently had one of these kits before they got yanked. The front lip looks like something 'stuck' to the bumper as an afterthought; it doesn't flow like the front bumper cover for the 03-04 Gsedan.
