Sold 06 g35 sedan after 11 years.

I have been on this forum since 2003, first with my 2004 G35 Coupe which was purchased new and sold about 3 years ago after 11 years of ownership and again with my 2006 G35 sedan, purchased new and sold last month also after 11 years of ownership. Both cars were reliable, proven cars that served me and my girlfriend well. I have no complaints. We just purchased a 2017 Infiniti QX50 with all options including Tech and hope to keep for long term ownership as well. We don't lease cars. The reason for this purchase is because the QX50 is one of the last Infiniti with the basic "bones" of the original G35/G37. I hate the newer designs and the 4 cylinder turbos and especially the CVT introduced on other models. I'm sorry to see Infiniti heading in another direction with FWD cars, and CVT transmissions and newer smaller 4 cylinder engines that have yet to be proven. Yes, the QX50 sucks gas, but it has been proven as well as the transmission that all of our automatic cars have enjoyed. I'm sorry to leave this forum as I have had a great experience and learned so much about these great G35s. Good luck to everyone and enjoy these reliable machines, proven to be real workhorses. I'll stop by from time to time to see what's going on. It was a great ride and I'm going to miss this forum.

And another old timer signs mostly off. Man I understand and we'll miss you but stop by from time to time to say Hi and add a bit of you to the forum. Enjoy the Q50, I would love to rock a Red Sport but honestly all that tech doesn't do much for me. So I drive my GTO daily to get my fast factor and occasionally drive my G which the girlfriend got for my nostalgia factor.

Me as well, definitely disappointed. Just another sign of the decline of this place and the few of us OG's left. Man I miss cremaster he'd either be having a field day with the new wave of clueless members or have a stroke, not really sure which one though. Glad to hear you're not going to completely diss us!!
