Inner fender liner ripped off T_T

Hey guy's, today my passenger side fender liner ripped off in the freeway, the more unfortunate news is that it took my clear-bump side marker T_T. This has been like the 3rd time I've lost a fender liner in the freeway and it's pissing me off. What do you guys do to keep it attached?! I wouldn't care so much if the headlight wiring wasn't so close. For now just zip tying the c**p out of it. Solutions? Thanks.

I've literally never had a fender liner just fall off. Either you or your mechanic is being lazy and not properly attaching it to the car. There should be a few bolts under the bumper, and quite a few plastic clips. The plastic clips can typically start breaking, especially with how old our cars are at this point. I got a bag of 100 of them off Amazon and replace them as needed. Have come in handy for my G, 240SX and even our Armada, stupid plastic clips everywhere.

If the bolts under the bumper are not all in place, it can catch air on the freeway and rip off. Or just drag along the asphalt.

This have never happened to me either! I can guarantee you one thing, if installed right they'll never come off!

Alright, well sourcing another set of clear side markers now and already ordered a new liner. I'm going to buy a bunch of the clips like you said and secure it. I bought my car salvage, does anyone know if there's any metal brackets that assist with support?

If you're talking about the fender liners, no brackets are used. Just a bunch of clips and a couple of screws.

I think there is one bracket IIRC. It's got one or two holes and it's just kinda floating there and you gotta put some clips in it. I'd have to take it off and check it out to see where tho.

OP, not sure what you payed for them, but partsgeek.com has them for $13. The holes are a little bit off, but for that price, it's worth the small modification.
