Muffler Delete Guys

Hey, I know I will get bashed but I was looking to do a muffler delete. I thought this was supposed to be a very cheap option, but I got quoted over $210.

I was told it was because they would need to create a Y pipe and then attach the stock tips to them. Is this the normal process? Also is the price reasonable?

Yup. Just cut a hole in it and it will accomplish the same thing.

Or DIY and save a chunk of change. Do you already have the hardware?

Just unbolt the muffler, it'll accomplish the same thing.

SMH at this growing trend. Muffler delete will sound like *** and make you the envy of absolutely no one. But it's your car so if you want to rice it out go ahead.

you're right horrible idea. Those won't be stares of envy, but of annoyance.
