AWD sedan bushings

To all the sedan guys, which bushings have you replaced and with parts and the cost?

I've own this car about 10 years now, its hit 120k. I know i've been needing compression rode bushings, both sides are making noise. I'm debating on getting OE bushings or go with whiteline or ES bushings. And if i should attempt to get more bushings.

Control arm inner and outer. Ball joint seem to be the most common.

A lot of talking about people getting the rear diff bushings done.

I have been lowered on so many different setups for the last 8 years and 50K miles. So i've replaced a few axles

Rear diff bushing.

Energy Suspension bushings with their supplied grease for the bushing swaps.

Replace the arms which have bad ***** joints, as most infiniti ones are non-serviceable.

I would call to confirm 03-06 sedan is the same as the 03-07 coupes for chassis.

You are going to need a really solid press to get these old bushings out.

It is 100% worth replacing the bushings though, revitalized my love for my G's performance!

Diff bushing explanation, and what happens when you drive on a blown one for too long: https://www.reddit.com/r/350z/commen...tial_bushings/

My mechanic described it as "hitting the driveline with a hammer on every shift."

What was the cost of bushing replacement?

I'm thinking of having a shop do them.

Depends on where you are, being you are in Chicago there should be a million shops.

If you have all the bushings done it will likely be close to $1500 with the hours required for getting all the parts and the diff removed.

Yup, pretty much what i've been quoted. Its like $550 just for the rear diff bushing installed.

$800-900 for front ball joint, LCA bushing inner and compression rod bushings.

Chicago has plenty of shops but not many Z/G or even nissan shops that do this often, well that i trust.

I'm now debating $1500 on this car is about half its value. They are slightly torn now.

I mean, it won't have great drive ability but who cares if it's a daily. Only replace the broken ones that really mess up your drive ability!

Another reason to change them is if the worn bushings cause issues with the alignment and the suspension's ability to keep it stable when adjusted. Often severely worn or failed bushings will cause issues with the alignment that will cause premature tire wear.
