Advice needed - Headlight assembly Halogen instead of HID

I have the factory Xenons on my 03 G sedan. The top mounting bracket has somehow broke and i can't see a way to rig it without a whole new replacement assembly. The problem is the xenon headlamp replacements on one side is like $400 or $500 and closer to $800 to $1000 a pair. The halogen replacements are like $100 a piece.

Anyone know if I can get a halogen assembly and throw in my factory hid's. I have to replace the same hid bulb anyway because the color has turned pinkish from a clear white. If the wiring is plug and play i can get a halogen to hid kit if needed. Just want to know how much of an issue I'm looking at getting a halogen assembly to work in a factory xenon car. i would just buy a new xenon assembly but I have to replace all 4 corner brakes, tires, front ball joints, springs/struts and my costs so far in parts is up towards 3k

Okay, look on eBay for the halogen headlight options. Those will work well, otherwise pick up a single used headlight off of eBay.

So your saying there is no wiring issue using halogen headlamps in a G that came with xenon headlights. I've looked on eBay, that's why I came here for confirmation. Unless it's a wiring nightmare I want to use Halogen headlamps, buy a hid kit for the halogen headlamps and plug n play. I just need some confirmation before I throw the cash out there. I have Michelin as3s and a 4 corner rotor, lines, pads on the way so I spent a good amount of cash this week

Buying cheap usually results in buying twice.

With a almost fifteen year old vehicle replacement parts tend to be expensive.

Did you ever consider resistance and current draw between the two types of bulbs?
You may want to investigate prior to causing bigger problems.

Suck it up or purchase a newer vehicle.

Just my $.02
