Second post. New owner. Infiniti 2005 g35x sedan. On initial start up manual mode works fine. Once I stop the car for gas,etc. Manual mode shows D and it drives in the auto mode. Next day on initial start it goes into manual mode 1M and works fine through all the gears until I stop and restart. Saw some posts indicating switch,shifter assembly and corroded contacts.Can someone explain the problem? Do not want to spend a lot of money if it is an easy fix. Can it be reset?
