How far overheated was the vehicle, was the needle pegged in the red?
Check your oil, is it milky white?
What do you mean "gel or foam in my reservoir"? Can you take a picture and post it (or HD youtube video and link) please.
Are you able to tell EXACTLY where the coolant is leaking from? This coolant system is notoriously hard to bleed all the air from, you can use the search function (or google) how to purge air from the radiator of a G35 but don't bother until the leak is fixed. Don't just dump money on a radiator unless you can see exactly where coolant is leaking from.

Turn the car on and turn the temp to 90*. Turn on the ac and put it on max.
Do both of the radiator fans work? If not - your car will overheat in traffic. I believe the radiator fan is on the left and the condenser fan is on the right.
I overheated for the first time yesterday. My fan failed, as the fuses are good and continuity is good up to the fans.
Good luck OP.

Yea ive did some searchimg but everyone has different problems, nd id like some help with mine aint nothing wrong with that. Ill post up pictures later, but i noticed the leak is coming out from the top corner of the radiator and its also coming out from the seal between the plastic and metal trim on the top of yhe radiator like barley. The gel stuff is iny resivior becuase of the so called raidiator leak fixer. But engine light popped up it said either radiator, fans, water pump or the thermostat, i will be taking it apart today to check the tubes.
Oil is fine, and when it my car gave out i was pressing the pedal nd the car was stalling then i had to do a emergency park, i ended up at a walmart nd bought a radiator fix nd it helped but my needle is still going up lil by lil after a drive around the block
Anytime you have a radiator leak/issue, you NEED to replace the radiator itself. Do not be cheap or take short-cuts.
I have JB welded the radiator on my previous older cars and they will only hold up very shortly. If you have a leak, it will lose coolant and will overheat the car.
Check your fans and your thermostat also. If those are good, then you need to replace the radiator ASAP. It should be pretty cheap now, and takes a couple hours to do.
Good luck.
