Best g35 Sedan Exhaust
Best g35 Sedan Exhaust
I am looking for recommendations to add a little bit of sound to my 06 g35 sedan 6mt.

I drive about 2.5 hours a day on the highway and use my bluetooth often but would still like to hear the car rev up when i am really getting on it.
Is there a good catback system?
or
would going test pipes with stock muffler be a better option.
or
is the only way to get what i want is a system with electric cutouts?
Thanks guys,
Nate

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

Easy there big fella, it's one of your responsibilities to search out answers to find answers to your questions before you post them. Also recommended to read the stickied threads at the top of the different forums. Had you done either you would have found this which will have answers to all of your questions listed. https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...mpilation.html
BTW the best sedan exhaust is the Motordyne VQ but with only 22 ever produced I doubt you'll ever find one for sale.

The Tanabe Medalion is sounds pretty good at every rpm except 2500 where there is noticeable in cabin drone and it was there before the Art Pipes. A resonated Y-pipe helped somewhat but in the end, I'll probably have to put a different muffler on it. Which is a shame because it otherwise sounds really good. But 2500 rpm in 6th gear is 70 mph...
If you don't drive a lot on the freeway or speed limits are lower than 70 (or whatever 2500 is in the 5AT if that's what you have) or don't mind risking a ticket driving 75 it is pretty quiet on the freeway.
