feeling road bumps

i bought my 2005 g35x used and ever since i bought it, i have felt that its much harsher over projections/bumps on roads..like my wife's corolla is much softer over bumps...but in my g35x u feel the bumps hard. i replaced the stablizer bar bushings on the front and that helped quiet a bit.

are there any other bushings that can be replaced that will make the ride softer, so to speak...thanks

The G35 is a much sportier car than a Corolla and has a firmer suspension to improve handling. Not really the car to get if you want a luxury ride, you'd have been better off with something like a Lexus ES350.

Yes, if the bushings are blown (Very likely) it will give a harsh ride, as will bad shocks and struts. Consider going to a professional if you can't inspect it yourself.

Are the wheels stock? I used to have a pretty koosh ride even lowered with poly bushings. Ever since I got forged wheels tho..good god, it's awful.

I've owned a Camry a couple of years ago and I will tell you they are different cars due to the suspension settings. Most toyota's you'll feel very soft and almost air-like because it absorbs most of the road bumps.

Not so much with a sport suspension. It is normal (unless your car's suspension is worn).

It's hard to tell going just by word. We have a sportier/stiffer suspension that is going to ride a bit rougher than something like a Carolla. That being said, you shouldn't be feeling like you are getting thrown around or anything.
