hello people I have a 2004 g35 when my check engine light comes on my acceleration is weak. It feels like my transmission is slipping. When the check engine light is reset it feels fine. Also when I shift manually it is fine.
The code says "front brake solenoid "p 1159

 

My recommendation would be to address the code your car is throwing and go from there. Moving on to any other solution before you do this would be foolish.

Error codes are thrown for a reason, that should be your first concern! Transmission, when was the last time you had it serviced? Pull your AT dip stick, is the fluid you're seeing look dark? If so have Nissan do a drain/fill, doubt if you'll have a sluggish issue again. So you know Nissan charges less for service than Infiniti, they use the same parts!

You sure that's the correct DTC? I do t see anything about an Infiniti code P1159.
