Aux power/phone stand setups
Aux power/phone stand setups
Question about how you guys/ladies have your phones set up on the dash/window for display as well as how you run your cables? Since my '06 doesn't have a seemingly easy access spot to plug the phone in for charging, I was looking around to see how I could run my cable. The Aux power is in the center console, but I don't feel like driving around with it up all the time and when i have to travel to area's i haven't been, I use my gps on my phone.
I was looking at the dash as well as window for a place to mount my holder, but so far, nothing seems to be adequate enough to where it's not in the way of visuals of the road. Plus, I hate having cables dangling and flying all over while i'm driving.
Is there a relatively easy way to run the charging cable from inside the console to the dash without ripping too much apart? Haven't had a great deal of time to look as I've been working non-stop since i bought it on Tuesday. Today is the only day i have to start going over things in detail.
Thanks in advanced.

I'll try to get a pic, but I spent the money on a ProClip mount. It's a two part system that has a vehicle specific mount, then a mount for your device.
I've used both mounts they make for the G35 and prefer the dash version. It puts the phone right next to the steering wheel, so great for glancing over.
Power is fed from the ash tray.
