bulbs for the clearance light. I just ordered some Piaa blue/white LED wedge bulb. When they come in I'll post pics of how they perform. It's a part # 19261

I've had those in my side marker lights and clearance lights for almost a year now (see avatar). there are several larger pictures of them at night in my photobucket account. check it out. I've spread the pictures around clubg35 and here

It will look more blue than white. If you want the blue look, you've got it. Even the white/white LED looks light bluish/purpleish when installed in the clearance light, and the blue/white looks very blue.

gspotter's right, the blue/white LED bulbs aren't legal. I've been given written warnings twice for them. it's a fix-it ticket

I replaced mine with an amber bulb. Matches the corner and turning signal lights pretty well & its still legal.

Thanks for the response guys, the bulb came in today and it said blue color, so I'll return it for the white /white and just go with that. Thanks again, I'm trying to stay legal.

This has been discussed before, but I'll say it again. Clear corners are NOT legal, regardless of the bulb inside (white/blue/amber). The corner lenses are required to reflect amber. I also have the clear corners on my sedan with an amber bulb. While this is still illegal I figure it won't be as obvious as a white or blue bulb.

Who said anything about replacing clear corners? This bulb in discussion is for the clearance light. I am keeping my amber corners.

Sorry, my bad. For the clearance light, the blue bulb should be OK. You have the sedan, correct?

It's kool. Yes I have the sedan, others were saying that the blue/white bulbs emits a blue color so I returned it and ordered the white/white ones (19263). Guess I'll see how those work.

cru, not all states ban clear lenses. here in TX, as long as the light produced is white or amber, clear lenses are completely legal. I've cleared that with several police officers

Same deal here in Jersey. Besides, if I were that concerned about being "legal" I would have bought a 4 cyl. Camry or some **** of the same ilk. Stay "golden"...and keep it under sixty five...Never had any fun "being good" LOL JBX
