I have an 08 chrysler sebring that i purchased used. Two times now I have had my start car on it own. I don't know if there was a remote starter on the car. I have a standard key fob with unlock, lock, panic and truck buttons. Anyone had this issue too?

 

Someone probably added the module to it, if you press the LOCK button 3 times it should remote start the vehicle which is probably what you're doing on accident.

The module is easy to remove, just take off the lower dash trim and it's plugged into the lock cylinder with a tee harness. Or you can leave it and be aware that pressing the lock button 3 times in a row will remote start the vehicle.
