midpipe
I see on here that some folks have gotten a Z midpipe. First question what is that? Is it the intake midepipe or the exhaust midpipe you're talking about? Next, after looking under my hood it appears that our intake is pretty muck high flowing to me, any real benefit to adding an aftermarket intake? Please inform me guys.

There's lots of info on this topic if you look arround.....
Basical Z midpipe = exhaust
- same as coupe midi except 6"(aprox) shorter.... go with coupe midi
The intake is deceving to look at in the G.
There is a large resonator that is hidden on the bottom.
The Z tube is straight through.

I have the Z midpipe. As the grumpier posters have noted
(tho i agree this one is readily found via a search), the coupe midpipe and the Z midpipe are the same except that the Z pipe is shorter and will need to be extended. The Z midpipe ended up being cheaper for me by about a hundred from Z car garage than it would have been if I'd bought the coupe midpipe online and stuck it in myself. Your mileage may vary.

Sorry if I sounded "grumpy" , but it was just that there was a VERY active thread (that even I had over 10 posts on re: middy swapping) 8 threads down from this one on the same page. Stay "golden" Pony Boy, lol the JBXer
