Now that I've actually seen the mudflaps listed on the Infiniti site for the 2005 sedan, I might get some. They are a lot better looking than I envisioned they would be - not just some plain black rubber flap.

Anybody have them or more pictures of them? The picture off the website ain't so hot.

 

I don't have pics, but I do have them on my 05 X. They look great. The rears extend to the lower part of the bumper cover to protect it from rocks and debris.

 

I think they look nice. Sorry, the car is a little dirty.

 

Howard - - when did you get your diamond graphite splash guards? I took delivery of my 'x' on Nov '04 w/splash guards as part of the deal. The dealer said they still have not received them yet. Thanks.

 

Infiniti recalled the splash guards and front lip b/c of improper paint match and fit............. Sux b/c I want the splash guards and the lip......

 

I took delivery last Monday 2/28/05. The car came with the splash guards.

 

Get the Splash guard - for looks and paint protection!!!! They are worth it.

 

For anyone who's gotten them after the sale, how are they installed?

 

They are no different than the 03/04 other than the paint. They older ones go to the lower part as well.

 

My dealer just told me the new 05 mud flaps won't be available until the end of March. They told me to call Infiniti and complain.

 

I was at my local dealership earlier today. Say a new Garnet Red Sedan with muflaps.
Asked the parts department and was told so far only the car ordered with mudflaps
from the factory had them. Still not listed with the parts department.

Time to start a complaint campaign!

 

The splash guard are avaiable, but Infiniti has a hold on the part #'s. Late April was the projected release date

999J2-JRB30K3 (front set)
999J2-JRB30K4 (rear set)

We do need to complain I want the damn splash guards and front chin spoiler....
