Well is it worth fixing the AC and putting piston rings in?

There is a lot to consider here. Burns oil or consumes oil?? If it just consumes oil it could be the typical oil consumption issue these engines can have and is fixable. The AC is a non issue IMO because AC is easy to fix if you know how to diagnose it. The big question here is how much are you getting it for?

the seller said it consumes a bit of oil but I heard that’s typical with high mileage vqs.Im buying it for 3k the seller wanted 4K but I’m going to negotiate with him.I own the same car but a 5AT and I add half a quart every 1k miles. The car also has a clean Carfax.

You are wrong. It's the rings. PCV isn't going to fix it. You need him to tell you exactly what his definition of "consumes some oil" means to him. There's more than a little chance that "some" to him means "a lot" to you. You're having a pre-purchase inspection done by a qualified Infiniti/Nissan mechanic, right?

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
It has the horrid Metra dash kit so no dice haha. But it's Twilight Blue which is a plus but as mentioned above have it checked out by a competent mechanic who's familiar with the VQ35DE motor and cars with it. Lots of sellers are shady in exactly how much they tell you about their car and how much they don't.

6 speed G35 sedan
Assuming by "burns oil" he means typical VQ35 consumption of a quart every 2000-3500 miles, that's fine. New clutch is a plus...but could also be a sign it was driven hard that it was replaced that relatively early for a sedan (I'm at 172k on the original clutch), if the a/c compressor is shot, expect to pay about $1000 for a new one, dryer, expansion tank, etc. Driver's seat tear is pretty common, every single G35 I looked at had issues.

If it passes an inspection, that's a lot of car for $3,000 even if you have to put another grand into it for the a/c (worst case).

It will be worth it. You'll get a very thorough breakdown of all of it's issues. It will pay for itself because if there are issues it will help you get the car cheaper if you're a good negotiator.

hope so the seller didn’t hesitate to meet me at dealership so I’m hoping for a good deal 👍 I’ll post pics when she’s mine hopefully
