Oxygen sensor

I got a code for my bank 1 sensor 1 on my 06 35 sedan so I replaced it and it came back a few days later so I thought it was a faulty sensor so got it warrantied out, but the code keeps coming back. Any ideas what it could be? I heard that if the exhaust manifold is cracked it can cause this code

Did u use an OEM or hitachi sensor? If not, then thats most likely your problem. These cars dont work with aftermarket sensors.

Pretty sure that code is for bank 2, not bank 1. Probably why replacing the bank 1 sensor didn't do anything.

If you have a left hand drive vehicle, USDM, then the "passenger" side of the vehicle, the RIGHT side of the vehicle is bank 1, you replaced the wrong sensor.

If you have a right hand drive vehicle, JDM, then the "passenger" side of the vehicle, the LEFT side of the vehicle is bank 2, you replaced the correct sensor.

It's best to use LEFT/RIGHT when describing side of the vehicle since this is a Japanese vehicle and they were predominantly right hand drive for their domestic market, Australian market, European market. Only the ones to USA and Canada ended up with the steering wheel on the wrong side (left side).

"Side" is always described as if viewed from sitting in the driver seat.
