Sport Z Magazine

A couple days ago, I asked Randy_G to share a little info on our summer issue's featured G with you forum members. I'd planned on sharing what we're working on from time to time... if you want.

The featured G in the Summer Issue of Sport Z Magazine is indeed a superclean, well balanced, supercharged car that drives uncommonly well.

We're also looking at other Gs for future issues. One's a 600HP twin turbo at 18psi+. And there's more great Gs out there. If you think your G is SZM ready, or you have an idea for an article, email me --- DaveO@SportZMagazine.com --- I won't guarantee we'll be able to use your G or your ideas, but you never know.

And on to my soapbox... Is posting what's up one way to help increase interest in Sport Z Magazine? You bet! If SZM is going to continue to grow and prosper we'll need to develop and publish articles that attract new subscribers and keep current subscribers. It's economics 101.

Think about it. Where else do you get more G and Z articles per issue than with Sport Z Magazine? Has any one else asked for your input for potential articles or featured cars?

I await your feedback.

In addition to some feature cars, I would like to see mod comparisons or DIY's.

Possible topics: Plenum mods (spacers vs plenums), rear gear comparo (real-world effects on changing the rear gear), limited-slip comparo (clutch type vs. gear type vs. viscous), suspension mods (which type handles best, which type should you avoid), and maybe some dedicated racing tips from some experienced folks. There could be both road racing AND drag racing tips.

Maybe some easy DIY's would help too. Rattle fixes, seat adjustments, easy installs, etc.

Recall/problem area info might be helpful as well.

ECU 101 might not be a bad idea too. How a MAF works, the function of O2 sensors.......and so forth.

Since most of the cars are 5AT, maybe a primer on torque converters?

Just my $.02....THANKS FOR ASKING!!

Some other ideas could include:

Clear bra install, spoiler install, proper leather treatment, lowering your G

These are all topics that come up all the time here.

Since you guys do such a good job on the Z history, maybe even include some Skyline history.

I just received my latest issue of Sport Z Magazine. The Stillen supercharged sedan article and the Keeping the VQ Cool article are great. Keep up the good work.
