I have a 2003 Infiniti g35 sedan. Will a 2004 engine wiring harness be compatible?

It depends. Late-'04 and newer cars have a few changes vs. '03 and early-'04.
Late 04's have:
- Factory wide-band O2 sensors; 6-wire harness to each upstream O2, earlier style (narrowband) have 4-wire harness I believe. They did this to meet ULEV requirements I believe (plus better fuel metering).
- Automatic transmission cars have TCM relocated to internally inside the transmission. 03 & early-04 have the TCM located externally in the passenger side lower kick panel. Thus, the harness is completely different for powertrain if its 5AT.

IIRC from other threads - the pin out on the ECU is different based on the ECU's part number. Would be best to verify this IMO
