wider tires

I did a search and saw somw guys are running 235/50/17 on the stock 04 sedan rim. Isn't that too wide for that rim? Correct me if I wrong please. I know they will fit the rim but won't they roll/slip off the rim during aggressive cornering?

The stock '04 sedan rims are 7" wide. 235 tires call for 7.5" wide wheels. Not far off so people have had good results with that setup. I wouldn't worry too much.

Ok that's what I thought. Reason I asked is before I had a maxima, which came with 225/50/17 and some folks ran a 235/45 and there was one report of this happening. Tire rolling off rim in aggressive cornering. Even though it was just one case that I've heard of, I just don't want that one infiniti case to be me.
