I’ve only seen one g35x manual swapped so far. I was wondering if there were anymore out there and if there were any pointers.

 

When you manual swap it's to RWD only, no 6MT AWD options. There's not really a difference in doing a 5AT to 6MT swap though, you will remove the fridge by driveline, differential, CV axles, etc if going from an X model.

I'd love to hear more info, I've literally never heard of this. Are you SURE it was actually a VQ engine?

I have a suspicion you are talking about Yosip's build, he was ORIGINALLY an AWD car but when he did his 6MT swap he deleted all the AWD stuff.

 

im not sure who that is but the post I seen shown the guy extending the driveshaft on the manual tranny or something. Maybe it was a transfer case? I can’t remember exactly that’s why I’m trying to reach out and find out what’s up 😭 I had screen shotted a picture I just gotta find it in the thousands
