Looking to buy 2008 infinity g35 need your advice!!!
Hello everyone - Hope this is in the right place
Thanks for creating this awesome forum and meeting the wonderful people here. I am looking to get a 2008 infinity g35 vehicle and I am looking to the community to check if there is anything I should be looking out for while doing my inspection.
They asking price is $6,000 and it has 106000 miles with a Salvage Title.
If you guys have any suggestions on what to check.
Looking forward to joining this family, thanks

For me, the answer would be no. NO to a salvage title. You just don't know what-all happened. It will be very hard to sell if you ever need to. The paint on the body work appears to be a pretty bad match on your first pic. Is the hood unlatched in the last pic or is that bad fitment on the repair? Those wheels are tragic to the end and back. The car very possibly was abused before the wreck based on those wheels, and so I'd figure that the engine isn't in tip top shape either. At the very least, you need to have a pre-purchase inspection done by a qualified mechanic before you do anything else (dealer will charge about $150 maybe? Been 4+ years since I had mine done for $130; I was happy to pay it). Good luck with your decision.
Thanks for your helpful suggestion, I really want to hear from you guys about this deal, I will be getting the car report and I will share it with you. I also think of bring my mechanic with me on the inspection day.

Looking at first and last photos more closely, on both sides there appears to be a crack or a shadow bend in the fender above the headlights. The front end is hanging down from that line, which explains the bad fitment of the hood along the front edge. Note the gap under the headlight on the driver's side. This car rear-ended someone or something, and was pretty poorly repaired, it looks like to me. Looks like a big scratch (might be a reflection, but I doubt it) above driver's wheel well. Two bumper scrapes in front of driver's side front wheel.
And those wheels! This is not an off-road dune buggy. Really.

Hi there,
When it comes to (Moderator EDIT: Suspicious looking link...) you'll want to keep in mind that the 2008 model is not the quickest Infiniti on the market. However, it's still a pretty quick car. You can expect Infiniti 0-60 times of around 6 seconds. As far as what to look for during your inspection, make sure to check the engine and transmission. These are the two most important components of the car and you want to make sure they're in good shape. Also, take a look at the interior and exterior of the car. If everything looks good, then you're probably in good shape. However, if you see any major cosmetic damage or anything that looks out of place, you may want to have a closer look.
