Bobbyg123: What I commented on the front look like Maxima is just my personal taste. I respect NISSAN company as a whole on the cars (Of course including Infiniti) they designed, developed and most importantly, pricing so we can afford it! Definitely not attacking Maxima as good or bad. In my opinion, for Infiniti's line up to look like any of Nissan's current line up, would be a step down.

G35G35G35: Whether or not it's a photochop, it's merely an opinion on the picture that was presented here, even if it's just a concept design from Nissan that could eventually become the real thing for 2007. If I recall correctly, when all of us were still in the dark about what 2005 G35 would look like, someone also posted a picture on this forum. There were many that said the picture was photochopped as well. But then a few weeks later, it became the real thing. Go figure...

The pictures look good. Much like the new Lexus IS that's coming out.
the 36 have nothing to do with engine displacement.

the skyline family goes like this

R30
R31
R32 1989-93
R33 1994-98
R34 1999-2002
V35 <-- Current
V36 <-- next gen

Exactly. For Skyline naming conventions, it's the generation, not the engine displacement.

The rear bumper and integrated exhaust is too "TL" for my tastes, and I'm not liking the big-*** circular brake lights.

I can not read Japanese but does number say "4.1 l and 330ps" which translate to 4.1 liter and 330 horsepower.

It is a 4.1-liter not 3.6. There is already a 4.0 version of the VQ in the new Xterra and Frontier. 330 PS & 41.0 kilogram-meter conversions is Roughly 325.48 HP & 296.55 lb-ft of torque using a converter. http://www.skylinesaustralia.net/for...ad.php?t=50887.

Is that real or just a photoshop guess? I can't say I really like it. It looks like an Acura which is pretty bland. More power is always good but what they got now is pretty awesome.

I cannot say weather or not it is real. You got to remember that 9 times out of 10 a vehicle ‘s conception starts out as a photoshopped rumor, & then if the rumor hold’s true it very rarely look’s like the photoshop or exactly like the prototype to when it’s unveiled.

Are all Infiniti/Nissan models redisigned every 4 years?? I think I remember it was like that with the Maximas where they came out with a new body and then 2 years later "refreshed" it and then 2 years after that redisigned.

Is the body redesign slated for 2007....anyone know????

the V35 skyline is running a 6 year model life instead of the usual 4

the R34 only lasted 3 model years

Not really liking the new design much, but the rest of it sounds tight!

The picture is a Japanese car magazine's rendition of the next generation Skyline sedan - just a wild guess. There are about 4 pictures like this one out there, and they are all just guesses. Best Cars, Holiday Auto, MagZ, and other Japanese car magazines like to do this a lot.

If it's confirmed that the next gen will look like this with -performance gains well above 300hp then I will likely hold on to my 03.5. until it's released.

I just hit 60K I'm getting better gas mileage only seen a CEL once or twice for a very short period, for what I believe was subpar gas - oh yeah the damn CD FOError twice. Other than that no stories - top end is stonger no alignment issues, brakes/tranny solid, etc..

I just went to the NY Auto show and saw a few things I could easily flip into, but not necessary right now knocking on wood.
